For graduates, the transition into adulthood brings new financial responsibilities. Intuit needed to reimagine its Life-ing platform to make financial education more engaging, practical, and mobile-first.
The problem
Millions of students enter adulthood unprepared to manage budgeting, credit, taxes, savings, and debt. Studies show that 79% of graduates find financial planning stressful, making the transition into independence feel overwhelming.
For Intuit’s Re-Orientation Day initiative, the challenge was to evolve the existing Life-ing microsite into a mobile-first platform that could provide practical financial guidance for graduates. The experience needed to feel engaging and easy to navigate, particularly on mobile where most users would interact with the platform
The solution
The solution transformed Life-ing into an interactive financial education hub designed specifically for post-grad life. The experience introduced six core financial topics, including budgeting, credit building, and taxes, through creator-style educational content, swipeable videos, and simplified navigation optimised for mobile use.
Practical tools such as budgeting calculators and savings resources were integrated directly into the experience, allowing users to immediately apply what they learned.
By combining approachable education with actionable financial tools, the platform positioned Intuit as a trusted partner for graduates while introducing Intuit Intelligence as a supportive guide for navigating early adulthood with confidence.
