Pelling Design have been working with Terumo BCT for over 4 years now, and have obviously been particually busy since the beginning of 2020 when COVID-19 first struck

Due to the nature of their work – blood management – marketing efforts were really stepped up to capitalise on the unique opportunity the pandemic presented.

This took on many forms, across multiple product cycles and service offerings, whilst covering a multitude of channels… including – but not limited too – digital marketing, digital event assets, websites, microsite, email marketing, social campaigns, brochure design and media campaigns.

The Design worked with the internal branding team ti ensure brand consistency and the correct look and feel / tone of voice were implemented at all times.

With all of this going on – and still so – it was a nice opportunity for us to flex our creative muscles when presented with the challenge of promoting a new internal initiative round of events  – Veda week

As part of capitilising on the new business opportunities, the latest service offering related the Veda product range aimed to create new revenue streams normally not associated with their product range.

Our task was to get the internal sales team excited, informed and geared up to sell in this new service offering

We started with the brand creation of a weeks worth of events, simply labelled ‘Veda Week… does what it says on the tin and all that!

We attributed a brand colour and thee to each day which was reflected in the logo and introduced a streamline to help resonate with the target audience – ‘Discover new possibilities’

Next was the look and feel and design branding for the event itself. We created a character and theme based around working from home and home e-learning as all of these events were online.

This was rolled out across multiple assets, including a microsite

As well as selling in the event, the microsite also housed introductory videos, quiz’s, resources and also the capabilities for the team to register and Win prizes

This all added up to a hugely successful event and as we move into stage 2 of the project we are pleased to say there is a huge amount of excitement and buzz around this opportunity
