SAPIA, LONDON UK / SYDNEY AUSTRALIA Website design and development

Re-branding is a daunting task at the best of times. Rolling this up with a full name change adds the pressure ten fold!

Pelling Design were bought in by new Marketing Director Toby McKinnon, with whom we had worked extensively in his previous role at Intuit QuickBooks to work on upgrading some existing comms for the oputgoinbg brand of Predictive Hire, with a view to designing, building and maintaining the website for the incoming, new company SAPIA.

Predictive Hire is a AI based volume hiring system that is disrupting recruitment globally, and led by the forward thinking entraprenure Barb Hyman.

I have talked here before about networking, strong working relationships and recommendations, and this is just another great example of our Design agency maintaining great client relationships.

Toby new what we could do, trusts us and our design process and knew we could deliver on budget and on time

As Predictive Hire transitioned to SAPIA, we worked on some interim communication decks outlining the benefits of investing in this great business, as well as tweaking there social presence look and feel

Pelling Design linked up with a branding agency in Australia to work on the Digital online experience of Sapia. Time was of the essence so we worked on the website in parallel with the branding agency as they developed the logo, colour palettes and tone of voice

The main aspect of the brief was to make SAPIA feel friendly, approachable, human and premium. Not ti mention experts in all that is hiring in volume and Ai based technology!

First port of call, as is often the case within any design process, was selecting imagery that fitted the above. We scoured the image library’s – Getty / shutter stock / istock – and created a set of contact sheets based on our searches. These were then reviewed by the marketing team at SAPIA and we worked alongside them to create a coherent bank of images.

As were doing this, the branding agency developed a font book and colour pallets and as we move into the design phase of wire framing and visual mock ups, we married these elements and started work

To give our clients a good feel for how the site looks and works, we often design a few key pages. Obviously the home page and then a selection of ‘Their 1’ pages. In this instance, solutions, products and a technology page

This approach allows the client to see how the site comes together and is a great way of working with our team of developers to make sure they have the design tools they need to bring the site to life whilst building out the pages

This site was based on a custom wordless theme, with roughly 30 modes that SAPIA could use to create pages moving forward, thus completely future proofing the site

There was also a heave emphasis on SEO (Seartch Engine Optimisation) and off site lead capture, so we worked with the onboarding team at SAPIA to ensure none of the SEO ‘goods’ was lost from the old Predictive Hire Site.

Our websites are always build SEO ready and in line with the latest algorithms and trends google sets!

I think you will agree its a beautiful site wit ha incredibly stringing design.
