The HIPP brand conjours up great memories for me, for my children both devoured their milk and baby food products, making us very happy, content parents. Full babies, are sleepy babies!

That was all a very long time ago now, so the HIPP brand had sort of slipped off my radar! I now have 2 teenagers obsessed with Nike, Adidas, Sony, Tiktok and Instagram! Oh how life changes.

So, when one of my long standing contacts Anthony wound up at HIPP as part of. Exciting new carrer opportunity, I was delighted he got in touch so we could hook up together again and work together on this longs standing brand.

Anthony and I have worked together for years, at various companies / brands such as Citizen Watches and QuickBooks, Intuit.

Part of our joint challenge was to try and bring the HIPP brand into this century, both functionally and aesthetically. The Content Management System (CMS) and Client Relationship Manager (CRM) are both in need of a overhaul, along with how they integrate with their internal sales process, but that is a project for another day!

We needed to act swiftly and design and develop a set of landing pages to support a new campaign that Anthony was working on. In the future the main site will be built to support campaign management to add a layer of flexibility and agility needed for rolling out campaigns quickly and effectively, but for now these had to act as stand along pieces.

Using existing brand assets – icons, colour pallets, fonts, imagery, icons etc etc – we were able to re-imagine how these many pieces work together for these landing pages and really elevate the aesthetic of what has become a little bit of a mundane online platform.

I view HIPP as a vibrant, modern, organic brand, but it is also one steeped in great family tradition and heritage, 2 view points that can jar aesthetically. Our main task was to marry the old with the new – something I really think we nailed!

It was also important to allow Stemmer the flexibility and agility to adapt their presentations on the fly at the drop of a hat, so it was our task to equip them with the tools to do so.

PPT is much maligned, but as is often the case with things people don’t understand, they tend to give it unfair critisism.

If you know how to use it and utilise the software to the best of its capabilities, it’s a wonderful piece of technology.

Great design can translate to any platform, so we are not daunted by using PPT and as you can see here, the presentations look great.

After doing a thorough audit of all the copy and imagery involved, we set up 6 design template pages that could be used to build the 9 presentations and keep them on brand, on style and looking consistent.

We also created a image bank, icon bank and table / graph bank that the team at Stemmer could utilise for any presentations in the future.
