Website Design for Farm & Country

Pelling Design have rolled out a fully integrated marketing campaign for Farm And Country. We started out, as all good agencies should do, with researching existing marketing position and addressing how the brand was being perceived by its customers. We also looked at how Farm and Country had been communicating with their existing and potential customers.

Branding is not just about designing a pretty logo – most website design agencies can do this in their sleep – It’s about so much more.

A major part of research also includes competitor analysis. This entails looking at other website designs, communication pieces, promotions they may be running and the quality of their brand.

We had a fairly easy starting point, Farm and Country’s online presence was almost non-existent. So, after creating a new logo, style guide and colour palette we tackled the website design. We worked with Farm and Country dissecting and re-categorising their product offerings, re-aligning the websites hierarchy and planning the user experience

Besides Farm and Country’s online presence we have also looked at packaging, advertising opportunities, in store hand outs and education pieces. Outlining a branding plan at the beginning of this process has helped not only ensure cross platform consistency but also maximise Farm and Country’s investment and make the process a simple and enjoyable one

2014 will be a very exciting year for all involved, and we can’t wait to share the outcome.
