Design Method
A case study in design before and after
Proving what a great design agency we are, against all the great completion in Surrey and further afield, can be a challenge. I have complete faith that we stack up well with the best small agencies around and think we are pretty good at showcasing and communicating this.
Our design process runs prospective clients through specifically how we work, but nothing highlights our great design work like a good before and after showcase!
ACHIEVE TOGETHER
Combine 2 companies messaging into one consistent value proposition The website itself needed to work for young adults and carers to easily identify accommodation and a area that suited them, with accessibility being key

As part of our ‘design pitch’ I like to include some of the work we are most proud of, and I find to add a bit of context really helps.
Seeing the sad state some of the websites / brochures / branding was in before Pelling Design got its hands on it is incredibly powerful.
It is personally the best part of my job, and why I love what I do - bringing a business owner’s vision to life and breathing new life into something tired, out of date and not fit for purpose.
I use the analogy of a house renovation when talking clients through the process. Sometimes it can be a simple lick of paint’ (design aesthetics) to get to where you need to be, and sometimes it needs to be from the foundations up!
As part of a website development project for instance, we will always audit what is there already, see how its been built, check the SEO performance, code integrity and of course the design and UX of the website.
The Design is often the most obvious change that can make a difference, but it is all the stuff you cannot see that really makes the difference in how the website works and how the client utilises the website as a sales tool If you want a better AFTER, than you have BEFORE, let’s have a chat!
