We started with the most used communication tool - Emails! Email and online marketing plays a massive role in accountant and consumer recruitment for Intuit QuickBooks Online. We designed and created a set of templates that can be adapted, personalised and used for any type of email communication.

By adopting a design method that can stay consistent across a multitude of email types and making the templates modular, we could ensure that a high level of design consistency is maintained.
 

LITERATURE /

Much in the same way as we approached the email templates, we created a design that is not only modular, but one that will work in all formats whether it be a A4 brochure or a mini micro fold information piece.

In-house, we designed a set of InDesign templates that will allow us to keep a consistent look and feel across all print design moving forward. We also designed and created a suite of icons for all media types.

2. Aggressive Marketing concepts

This brought us onto the specific task of creating a set of recruitment communications that would help grow the customer base of QuickBooks Online. We started with social posts that simply compared QuickBooks Online with all its key competitors. Luckily QuickBooks Online is not only a wonderful product but the statistic back it up - a perfect combination to be aggressive and pull no punches when drawing p comparisons.

As long as this is all done in good taste it can be incredibly effective marketing and really resonate with all who are in the market for this particular type of product! We were lucky that the client agreed with our vision and was brave enough to allow us to execute and roll out this campaign.

Leaning on what we created above we also designed and created a raft of support materials that sat alongside this campaign. These were rolled out on sign up, so that the accountant felt supported and had every resource they could ever wish for!

Having a consistent look and feel was vitally important so the whole experience was as seamless as possible.
